About Me

I am Sabine Djernaes and these are my Foodie Notes. I love everything kitchen (oh, all right - a sinkload of dirty dishes is a little further down on the list...) cooking and eating. I like variety in the food I make and some weeks feel a little culturally confused like a trip around the world; Indian one day and food from America's South West the next - life's too short to eat boring food.

I grew up in Germany, lived in California for a while, where I got spoiled expecting sunshine every day and amazing fresh produce in the bargain, too, and currently live near Copenhagen, Denmark with my husband Martin and two sons Felix and Luca and where I run an icepop manufactor called Juciful in Denmark.
